2019 SUMMER CAMPS

“THE MORE WE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT INTELLECT DEVELOPS FROM THE MOVEMENT OF THE LIMBS, FROM DEXTERITY AND SKILLS, THE BETTER IT WILL BE.”— RUDOLF STEINER

The Waldorf School of San Diego offers diverse summer camp experiences for children in Kindergarten (ages 4 1/2 to 6 years old) through Grade 8. Each summer, children throughout San Diego County come to our beautiful campus, located on a breezy hill in City Heights, to enjoy various age-appropriate Waldorf-inspired activities. Camp activities vary each year, but may include gardening, games/sports, handwork, plant based dyeing, swimming and more. Our camps are led by Waldorf-trained teachers, and provide a healthy balance of teacher-led activities and supervised outdoor free-play.

For all camps in early childhood, children will have a rest period following lunch, from 1pm-2pm. After this rest period children will have free play outside until pick up. Please note if you plan to pick your child up early it is advised that you pick up before 1pm or after 2pm.
