A Four-Year Journey through the Arts
A Four Year Journey through the Arts:
At a Waldorf High School, student can choose to play the cello and be on the basketball team. At a Waldorf High School, students are immersed in the Fine Arts, while remaining on the “College Track."
Each of our students is offered Art through stand-alone coursework, and as an integrated element in academic studies. Students are given the opportunity to choose between musical performance options (band and choir): drama productions (set construction, costume design, and live performance): Fine Arts (painting, drawing, sculpting, and printmaking): and Practical Arts (metalsmithing, weaving, and book making).
With a Waldorf education, the Arts are viewed as part of the critical path to moral and intellectual development.
As Waldorf educators, our goal is to help guide each student in a four-year journey through education and the arts.
